Britain and Israel put Idi Amin in power? I had no idea....doesnt make sense??
70s; cold war, world bank, structural adjustment programs by the IMF..darn. So we were doing well after independence, twas more of a combination of external deveopments that pushed us off into our downward spiral.
Do u start by healing the wounds and trying to repair the rifts btw the bantus and the others? Or is that impossible...should we just hope for a bandaid across said wounds?
Because how else can u even start building( the nation) when the foundation(unity amongst citizens) is pretty much non existent, or extremely shaky at best?

Yep, Europe, Us and their developed allies have a habit of doing these things. If you think about it, Africa is the source of 90% of the world's natural resources. Petrochemicals, Agriculture, Precious stones & metals and one time manpower (in the form of slaves! LOL). So they do their best to maintain an extent of control over the continent.

Very correct Bawo! Internal factors such as our intrinsic greed as Africans have also played a big role. When a conflict like this is created and has eaten through generations, the best solution (in my limited opinion) is to seek leadership by an intelligent party with experience AND ties with both cultures (makes me cringe to use Obama as an example). But yeah, otherwise they only have prayers to help them.
