Typical!
Nigerians know no honour; and this is why we cant depend on co-operation and fair play to help us all succeed. The country is a jungle, so it's every man for himself.

Universal Jurisdiction
Do not be surprised to see more than a few posts regarding extra-territorial jurisdiction as this is my main topic of concern for the next few months. This is a good introduction. Enjoy!

POWERMAT
I've been screaming about POWERMAT for a while now. But reading about it can never beat seeing a hands on demonstration of its capacities.
That being said, this video shows that the company are taking their technology to a different level (embedded in worktops and kitchen countertops). On the positive side = low bills, on the negative = quick cancer? LOL!
enjoy!

The Light Up Nigeria Movement
I have tried to ignore The Light Up Nigeria Movement but as this shows, have failed. This post will be edited at a later time to expose the many criticisms I hold against this campaign. Is this another amenity that Nigerians wish for but cannot really afford? (see Fuel prices, premium education, law enforcement etc). However, it must be noted that the movement holds far more advantages than disadvantages; which is why I use this post as a platform for its exposure.

Chinua Achebe's Return
You can take the man out of Igbo-land, but you can NEVER take the Igbo-ness out of the man! Chinua Achebe is a true African legend!

Are You Being Serious Right Now???
I know some silly people who think racism no longer exists.
The recent incident involving - Wole Soyinka protegé - Henry Louis Gates slaps people like them in the face. Now unbelievers will take Kanye's words in "Jesus Walks" with a pinch of salt. Read more and watch video HERE

Why Nigerian art will continue to suffer!
If you are anything like me (okay, you're not). But if you are an art enthusiast or even just an admirer, you will more than likely have explored the potential of the artists from your own country. This is because their work will inevitably hit a sentimental soft spot; as you might have been subliminally exposed to some of their themes in your growing years.
In my own exploration, i've come to find that most successful Nigerian artists - although tradtionally influenced - are based and exhibit in Europe or America (as with sports, academia, literature and any other form of expression really).
To this phenomenon, I have recently come across a strong answer to the question "Why so?".
You too can have this question answered by clicking HERE

Obasanjo on HARDtalk

Malcolm X's Address Of The Oxford Union
At times like this when exam anxiety is trying to perforate my liver, I like to take solace in the fact that inspirational speakers such as Mr X had no University education. Enjoy.

Olusegun Obasanjo's "Sham "Democracy"
This is taken from a BBC Four documentary 'Hotspots: Nigeria' first broadcast 11th May 2005. It concentrates on Nigeria's embrace of "democracy" under Olusegun Obasanjo after several years under military dictatorships.
Fela On "Being African"
The Late Olufela Anikulapo-Kuti speaking on his influences; and the experiences that encouraged his Pan-Africanism. Have a good laugh at his breakdown of the word "democracy".
Comedienne - Andy Osho
This is one of the funniest women around. Andi is an uber-talented, award-winning, British-born comedienne of Nigerian heritage. More of her work can be seen here.

Pastor uses manhood for "deliverance"
Well I thought I had seen the worst of the weirds after the goat debacle but this story really shocked me. I've often argued that sex is the factor that determines most of man's activities on earth, but this came as a real shocker. Well, it still teaches that as long as there is sex, there will be innovative ideas! Lol!

Louis Farrakhan "corrects" Mike Wallace
Mike Wallace attempts to sling mud at Nigeria but is (quite rightly) cut short by Louis Farrakhan. I feel this is worth a post because it's one of the very few times Mr Farrakhan has expressed an entirely objective view. Also, it makes me wonder what point Mr Wallace was attempting to make before he was cut short..

LIBRARY WAHALA
This is my first post, so i'll keep it relatively serious. I'll try not to put up any of my old videos because i'm trying to keep things fresh and recent.
Speaking of which, recently i've been doing my fair share of "library time" but nothing seems to be making sense to me academically. Out of frustration, i decided to make this video. LOL!!
